Around Münster

Sights & leisure activities

Münster presents itself as a picture-book village in Upper Bavaria. In the centre is the small Johann Baptist church, the inn and – thanks to our lads – the white and blue maypole. Every 4 years
the tree is traditionally erected by hand.

Head straight out into nature from the front door: cycle tours with a panoramic view of the Alps,
Swimming in the surrounding moorland lakes, hiking in the Kupferbach valley. Whatever the season, you’ll find just the right thing for a little time out.

Or do you fancy art & culture? Munich with its art galleries and museums is so close. It takes just 30 minutes by S-Bahn from Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn to Munich’s Marienplatz. Just a short walk from the English Garden or the Viktualienmarkt.

If you want to experience more, visit the Hermannsdorfer Landwerkstätten, the Bauernhof-
Markus Wasmeier’s museum at Schliersee or the adventure brewery in nearby
Aying.

For a stroll, we recommend Wasserburg am Inn, Rosenheim or the beautiful
The small town of Bad Tölz on the Isar.
